DERTHONA BASKET

Derthona Basket, İtalya'nın Piacenza kentinde yer alan profesyonel bir basketbol kulübüdür. 1953 yılında kurulmuştur ve uzun yıllar boyunca İtalya'nın ulusal basketbol ligi olan Serie A'da mücadele etmiştir. Derthona Basket, kulüp tarihinin en başarılı dönemini 1980'lerde yaşamıştır. İtalya Kupası'nı üç kez kazanarak büyük bir başarı elde etmiş ve 1985-86 sezonunda yapılan FIBA Koraç Kupası'nda da final oynama başarısı göstermiştir. Ancak Derthona Basket, ekonomik zorluklarla mücadele etmek zorunda kalmış ve Serie A'dan düşmüştür. Kulüp, son yıllarda Serie C'de mücadele etmektedir ve yeniden yükselme mücadelesi vermektedir.
